Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC in Las Vegas, NV seeks a Journeyman Cloud Security Engineer to fortify cloud security posture across Azure, VMware and on‑premises infrastructure. You will support Zero Trust, DoD baselines and automation within CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities include secure architecture design, threat detection, IAM and policy enforcement, IaC for repeatable deployments, and collaboration with cyber operations teams to maintain compliance and rapid incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a cybersecurity/CS field required.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity with automation experience.
• Hands-on with DoD RMF and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
• Experience securing Azure and identity management.
• IaC for repeatable, secure cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Be SME for cloud security incidents and coordinate with ops teams.
• Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Zero Trust implementations and PIM/identity governance.
• Perform cloud compliance checks per DoD baselines.
• Monitor cloud-native SIEM and analyze logs for threats.
• Automate security tasks via scripting and platform tools.
• Contribute to ATO documentation and policy enforcement.
