Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Security Engineer to support zero-trust architecture across multi-network environments. You will drive security automation, compliance, and monitoring, while partnering with development and operations to maintain velocity and security harmony.

Responsibilities include IaC-based control validation, CI/CD security, and regular risk assessments of cloud resources, with a focus on data tagging/classification and DoD/Federal-like standards where applicable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years designing, deploying, and configuring data security solutions.
• Experience with data-centric security models and maintenance.
• Experience designing, implementing, configuring, operating, or testing IT systems or security infrastructure.
• Experience with data tagging and classification.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead security compliance initiatives and automation of control validation across cloud environments using IaC (Terraform/Ansible).
• Build security automation for CI/CD pipelines including vulnerability scanning and compliance validation.
• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments of cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with development/ops teams to implement security controls without slowing velocity.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring, respond to security events, and maintain docs/guidelines.
