With 3–5 years journeyman experience, you will uphold safety rules, document progress, and contribute to forming, placing concrete as needed, and teamwork on diverse construction tasks.

Qualifications

• Budgeting/reading blueprints and layouts.
• Knowledge of structural design principles.
• Adherence to safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities

• Study specifications in blueprints to prepare layout and determine materials.
• Shape or cut materials to measurements using hand tools, machines or power saws.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Erect and destruct concrete forms, scaffolding and ramps above ground level.
• Remove damaged parts and repair using hand tools.
• Maintain records and present progress reports.
• Construct forms or chutes for pouring concrete.
• Verify trueness of structure and check plumb.
• Mix, transfer and extend materials like concrete and asphalt.
• Fabricate and install concrete reinforcing bars.
• Place and finish concrete.
• Maintain job site cleanliness and secure site daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
