Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of carpentry practices, methods and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, plans or sketches; estimate materials and time.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Four year carpentry apprenticeship plus hardware experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and select methods and materials for assigned work.
• Alter and repair buildings, doors, partitions, fixtures and furniture.
• Operate power tools; estimate materials and time; supervise helpers.
• Repair locks, hardware and maintain keying systems.
