Job summary

NANA Construction is seeking a skilled carpenter to construct, install, and repair structures using wood, plywood, and finishes in a commercial setting. The role follows local codes and requires reading blueprints, layout, and precise measurements.

Candidates should have at least five years of progressive carpentry experience, including flooring and finish work, and hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record. This is a hands-on, on-site position with room for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or ten years carpentry experience.
• Minimum five years progressive carpentry experience.
• Experience in flooring and finish work.
• Driver’s License with acceptable driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints, sketches, or plans for material requirements and dimensions.
• Select lumber or materials and prepare layout.
• Mark cutting lines and shape materials to measurements.
• Assemble and fasten pieces with nails, pins, or glue.
• Erect framework, subflooring, stairs, and install cabinet work.
• Install windows, doors, trim, and finish hardware as needed.
• Report incidents to supervisor as required.
