Job summary

Nabholz Construction Services is seeking a skilled carpenter to join our Lenexa, KS team. You will construct, erect, and install structures using wood, plywood, and wallboard, following local codes and job blueprints.

Responsibilities include reading plans, building footings, walls, decks, installing frames, stairs, and cabinets, and setting up scaffolding. This role demands physical effort and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints or building plans.
• Apply shop mathematics to solve problems and plan work.
• Select and use proper tools for carpentry tasks.
• Maintain accuracy within precise limits and standards.

Responsibilities

• Study blueprints or plans to determine material needs and dimensions.
• Construct footings, walls, columns, decks using hand and power tools.
• Set and anchor bolts and metal studs for frames and doors/windows.
• Build stairs, partitions, cabinets, and formwork for concrete.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders; perform safe, efficient carpentry tasks.
