Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of professional carpentry experience.
  • Carpentry apprenticeship program completion preferred.
  • Electrical experience strongly desired.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools.
  • Ability to read and follow project specifications.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
  • Ability to work safely and independently while collaborating with the maintenance team.

Responsibilities

  • Install structures, fixtures, and frameworks per specs.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and install wood and other materials.
  • Repair and maintain wood structures, including windows and cabinetry.
  • Inspect buildings and communicate findings to the Lead Carpenter.
  • Perform interior and exterior maintenance and weather-stripping repairs.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools.
