Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor carpenters while actively working alongside them.
  • Interpret plans, drawings, and specs to build with accuracy and precision.
  • Coordinate daily site needs with Field Operations, Shop, and Project Managers.
  • Maintain professional communication with owners and project stakeholders.
  • Complete layout, grade elevations, and material measurements.
  • Uphold jobsite cleanliness, organization, and professionalism.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and model safe behavior.
  • Accurately track time, equipment, and work progress.
  • Contribute to developing the next generation of skilled professionals.

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Carpenter Foreman, you are the boots-on-the-ground leadership driving project success. You’ll oversee daily construction activities while working hands-on with a talented crew. From layout to finishing, you’ll ensure quality, safety, and efficiency every step of the way.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of commercial construction carpentry experience, including foreman-level leadership
  • Strong blueprint and document reading skills
  • Proficiency in construction math and layout (algebra/geometry)
  • Solid understanding of materials, equipment, and construction methods
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Valid driver’s license + ability to travel between job sites
  • Strong commitment to safety and OSHA compliance
