Qualifications
Requires three years of experience under supervision of a journey level Cable Splicer.
Certification or equivalent mobility is necessary.
Responsibilities
Splices and maintains high and low voltage power cables.
Installs and repairs street lighting systems and electrical equipment.
Locates and repairs electrical faults in underground systems.
Skills
Expert knowledge of electricity and electrical theory
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Safety rules and procedures
Specialized hand and power tools
Education
Three years of experience in electrical trades
Current Washington State driver's license
