Job summary

IFAS is seeking a qualified professional to produce Journal Voucher analytics for DEAMS, DDRS-B, DDRS-AFS and GAFS-R across periods and map financial statements as applicable. The role requires ensuring oversight controls for JVs needing DAF approval and researching the root causes of unsupported vouchers.

Candidate should have DoD regulatory familiarity, budgetary and chart of accounts knowledge, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• DOD Secret clearance required.
• Expertise with Treasury Guidelines, OMB Circulars, DoD regulations, GTAS Validation Checks & Edits.
• Firm understanding of Chart of Accounts concepts, crosswalks between systems and trial balance reconciliations.
• Minimum 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce Journal Voucher analytics for DEAMS, DDRS-B, DDRS-AFS and GAFS-R for each applicable period.
• Provide Financial Statement mapping as applicable; ensure review and completeness oversight controls for JV that require DAF approval.
• Research root causes of unsupported Journal Vouchers.
• Conduct substantive sampling over DFAS JV postings.
