JOB SUMMARY

1. Respond to electrical trouble calls throughout the Clinton and Devens facilities, inspecting and repairing a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power distribution, smoke and fire detectors, security alarms, and automation systems.
2. Install new complete electrical circuits from the bus bar or other sources to equipment or other points of operation, including:
3. Cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduit using PVC, EMT, and Flex Material.
4. Read and execute electrical drawings (e.g., pull and tag/land wire).
5. Mount electrical panels, switchgear, and motor control centers.
6. Perform basic electrical checks such as continuity, grounding faults, and OHM tests.
7. Prepare electrical projects, layout materials, and tools.
8. Follow basic electrical and low/high voltage instructions.
9. Obtain required permits for electrical and fire safety installations when needed.
10. Perform duties safely by following safety guidelines such as PPE, LO-TO, and job hazard analysis.
11. Collaborate with project management to create scope of work and coordinate contractors for project execution.
12. Maintain departmental logs and records, including labor documentation.
13. Develop strong relationships with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors.
14. Adhere to all company core values, property, and departmental standards.
15. Must hold a current Massachusetts electrical license.
16. Respond to emergency calls on a rotating schedule outside regular hours.
17. Assist with other trades and understand HVAC operation and BMS troubleshooting.

• Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation, calibration, and configuration.
• Knowledge of PLC programming.
