Job summary

CACI International in the United States is seeking a Training & Readiness Assessment Specialist to support USSOUTHCOM’s Joint Training Program by assessing training effectiveness, evaluating operational readiness, and advancing Joint doctrine and capability development across Combatant Commands and interagency partners.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting military training, operational readiness, joint planning, doctrine development, or organizational assessments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience evaluating programs and presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of the Joint Training Program through research, analysis, and validation of training initiatives and performance outcomes.
• Support development and revision of the Joint Training Plan, JMETL, and related training assessment products.
• Analyze data and emerging requirements to recommend improvements in readiness and training effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Joint Staff, Service Components, and interagency stakeholders to support doctrine development and training modernization.
• Develop assessment methodologies, reports, and executive briefings for senior leaders.
• Contribute to After Action Reviews and Lessons Learned to improve future exercises and operations.
• Advise on joint training, readiness assessments, doctrine, and capability development to align with priorities.
