Job summary

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• First assist in OR for primary and revision joint procedures.
• Conduct preop and postop patient evaluations.
• Inpatient rounds and postoperative care with surgeon.
• Coordinate discharge planning and transitions of care.
• Educate patients on surgical prep, recovery, and precautions.
• Address routine postoperative concerns within scope of practice.
• Help optimize clinic flow and patient access.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, therapy and case management.
