Job summary

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience is highly preferred.
• Master’s degree as NP or PA is required.
• NJ-APN/RN or PA license with NCCPA certification; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Independent outpatient evaluation and management of new and established patients.
• Pre- and postoperative care and patient education.
• Coordination of care and support of the surgical practice.

Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

The Bone & Joint Institute at Cooper University Health Care is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our growing Shoulder & Elbow service.

The APP will work collaboratively with the Shoulder & Elbow surgeon and multidisciplinary orthopaedic team to provide comprehensive care for patients with a variety of shoulder and elbow conditions. Responsibilities will include independent outpatient evaluation and management of new and established patients, pre- and postoperative care, patient education, coordination of care, and support of the surgical practice.

This position offers the opportunity to work within a growing subspecialty practice as part of Cooper's expanding Bone & Joint Institute. Orthopaedic experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and an interest in musculoskeletal care.

License/Certification Requirements
