Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an experienced Military Trainer – Modeling and Simulation Instructor/Controller to support Combatant Command joint exercises in Suffolk, Virginia. The role focuses on planning, development, and execution of computer-assisted exercises to enhance Joint Force readiness.

The candidate must hold an active DoD secret clearance with potential to obtain TS/SCI, and bring 2+ years in joint operations, M&S, and planning. Travel and on-site work in Virginia are required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in joint operations, M&S, and planning or equivalent.
• Experience as a commissioned/officer or DoD civilian in training roles.

Responsibilities

• Support the conceptualization, development, replication, and execution of M&S for joint exercises.
• Operate and control military models/simulations to replicate forces during training events.
• Serve as a simulation instructor and controller coordinating MSEL injects.
• Maintain certification and proficiency in assigned simulation platforms.
• Validate and update order-of-battle databases and adversary threat binders.
