Job summary

Corps Solutions seeks a Modeling and Simulation Specialist in Twentynine Palms, CA to manage and train on fires simulation systems, including Joint Virtual Fires Trainer. You will work under the Project Manager and Site Lead in a government facility.

Required are a high school diploma and at least five years in combat arms with fires coordination, plus DoD policy and English communication skills. Expect on-site duties, long shifts during exercises, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum five years of operational experience in combat arms, with a focus on ground/air fires coordination/delivery.
• Demonstrated knowledge of military doctrine, tactics, and command relationships at the Battalion-level or above.

Responsibilities

• Operate, instruct, and maintain training simulations related to fires.
• Analyze the fires functional area during simulation-supported events.
• Cross-train into other simulation systems as assigned by the Site Lead.
• Participate in Exercise Development as assigned.
• Translate operations orders into simulation databases.
• Document and report training system utilization data.
