Job summary

SAIC seeks a Joint Exercise Logistics and Sustainment Planner at Camp Smith, Honolulu, Hawaii to lead the planning and execution of joint exercises. You will coordinate logistics, sustainment, and scenario injects for CPX/FTX, ensuring alignment with theater priorities and J4 guidance.

Required: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience; JPME Phase I; strong communication with senior leadership; active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility. International travel up to 20% may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 10+ years of relevant experience, or 14+ years with substitution.
• JPME Phase I completed; 2 years on joint HQ staff in lieu of JPME Phase I.
• Understanding of JELC and planning for CPX/FTX.
• Experience with Joint planning Process (JPP) or equivalent.
• Strong communication with senior government leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Joint Exercises like VALIANT SHIELD, KEEN EDGE, and COBRA GOLD.
• Develop logistics milestones, sustainment concepts, and support requirements.
• Coordinate logistics functions: supply, maintenance, transportation, engineering, health services, distribution.
• Lead Exercise Control Group functions and manage sustainment injects and reporting workflows.
• Maintain OPSEC and coordinate with staff for proper facilities and equipment.
• Prepare directives (PLANORD/EXORD) and SOPs for exercise planning and execution.
• Lead work group planning meetings and IPRs with senior leaders.
• Maintain J4 exercise information data sites and respond to RFIs.
