Anodyne Surgical is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in producing high-quality work. As a privately owned medical device manufacturer in O'Fallon, Missouri, we offer a clean, climate-controlled, team-oriented work environment where quality and precision matter.
We manufacture precision disposable ophthalmic cannulas used in eye procedures, including cataract and LASIK surgeries. We're looking for a Machine Operator who is mechanically minded, comfortable working with production equipment, and able to troubleshoot issues while maintaining quality and efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and production efficiency
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic machine adjustments
- Monitor machine performance and identify issues that could result in downtime, scrap, or quality concerns
- Inspect products to ensure they meet established specifications and quality standards
- Use measurement and inspection tools as required
- Accurately complete production documentation and quality records
- Identify and communicate equipment, tooling, or process issues
- Work with teammates and supervisors to meet production goals and keep operations running efficiently
- Follow all company safety, quality, and standard operating procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to recognize when something isn't operating correctly
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
Compensation
$17-$20 per hour and based on experience
