Job summary

Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Missouri. You will provide compassionate nursing care, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with the care team to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as outlined in individualized care plans.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Start IVs and perform treatments.
• Document treatments and physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Assign nursing care to team members according to resident needs and capabilities.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are used safely and maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Highly motivated and able to assist in all aspect of nursing

• The candidate will provide services that exceed company and regulatory standards

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans

• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs

• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders

• Assigns nursing care to team members in accordance with the resident’s needs and the person’s capabilities and qualifications

• Administers medications

• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents

• Documents that treatment as required

• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner

• Others duties as assigned

Qualifications of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
