Job summary

Arbor Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team and deliver exceptional resident care. You will work 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, provide nursing services, administer medications, and collaborate with a caring team to meet regulatory standards.

We offer an $8,000 sign-on bonus for full-time, PTO, holidays, tuition reimbursement up to $5,000 per year, 401(k) with company match after 1 year, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited LPN School of Nursing.
• Valid LPN license.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Candidates must maintain a working email address and phone number for employer communication.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and their family members, and at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to react decisively and quickly in emergency situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and leads individualized nursing care plans.
• Assesses and documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.

• Administers medications.
• Starts IVs and performs treatments for assigned residents.
• Documents that treatment as required.
• Ensures that supplies are utilized economically, and that equipment is clean and maintained a safe manner.
