C& B Operations in Jackson, Minnesota, is seeking a John Deere Service Tech to diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment for customers and dealers. The role requires teamwork and strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field required (preferred).
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing, lifting, etc.).
• Team environment adaptability.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Completes all job notes and timesheets with work assignments.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and work area in a neat, safe condition.
• Promotes service department through inspections and parts to customers.
• Follows safety procedures and works in a safe manner.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a John Deere Service Tech for our location in Jackson, Minnesota. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

Qualifications:

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
