Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell is seeking a Service Department Manager to lead operations and ensure top-tier customer satisfaction in Wisconsin. You will direct service activities, manage staff and training, and oversee warranty processing to maximize recovery from manufacturers.

The role focuses on safety, process discipline, and timely delivery of service outcomes. The position requires a minimum of 3 years in a related role, strong knowledge of farm equipment, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of previous related experience required.
• Knowledge of farm equipment required.
• Ability to lead and influence others in a positive, proactive manner required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and presentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Promptly waits on customers over the phone and at the counter, advising repairs and costs.
• Schedules service work and assigns to Technicians; oversees quality and customer satisfaction.
• Reviews and charges out service tickets, including warranty; ensures timely payment.
• Promotes current marketing programs to drive sales and supports staffing decisions.
• Leads and supervises Service staff; coordinates training and staffing with HR RAM.
• Maintains safety, EPA/OSHA compliance, and a clean, organized facility.
• Covers store hours for the Service Dept and handles after-hours customer calls.
