Job summary

John Deere Fargo is seeking a Production Specialist – Kitting (3rd Shift) in Fargo, ND. You will perform kitting duties, manage inventory transactions, and prep parts per manufacturing processes, while upholding 5S standards and safe work practices.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, performing preventative maintenance, pulling jobs, and assisting team members. Overtime and weekend work may be required in this third-shift role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following: High School Diploma or G.E.D.; National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC); At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.
• Ability and willingness to operate a stock picker and work up to 10 feet above the ground.
• Ability and willingness to operate a forklift and maintain applicable certification.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Primary Location: United States (US)- North Dakota - Fargo

As a Production Specialist – Kitting (3rd Shift)employee with John Deere in Fargo, ND, you will:

Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Perform inventory transactions for all areas including Kanban.
• Perform kitting/prepping as required by manufacturing processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• Ability and willingness to operate astock picker and working up to 10 feet above the ground.
• Ability and willingness to operate a forklift and maintain applicable certification.
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability and willingness to work 3rd shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

• Current experience as a contingent worker in a similar role at John Deere Fargo demonstrating strong performance and attendance.
• At least 1 year of prior work experience in an assembly, shipping, receiving, or warehouse role that includes forklift operations experience.
