John Deere in Springfield, MO is seeking an Assembly Salvage employee to perform engine and component disassembly in a safety- and quality-driven production setting. You will drain fluids, remove parts, and prepare units for the next processing stage.

Responsibilities include moving units between stations, recording daily logs, and supporting team members. The role requires flexibility for shifts and overtime; on-site work with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) preferred.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Disassemble engines, accessories, drivetrain, hydraulics, and pumps in a production environment focused on safety and quality.
• Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to prioritize production of units.
• Drain oil, fuel and remove parts, bolts and plugs.
• Clean and blast fuel pumps as necessary.
• Move disassembled components to the next process and record in daily logs.
• Disassemble units according to BOM and OMS processes and complete paperwork in SAP/AMS as required.
• Assist and support other team members; maintain a clean work area.

Primary Location:United States (US)- Missouri - Springfield

As anAssembly Salvageemployee with John Deere in Springfield, MO, you will:

Perform disassembly of engines & accessories, drivetrain & hydraulics, water/oil pumps or fuel pumps in a production environment focused on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

• Communicate with Team Leader and Supervisor to prioritize production of units.
• Drain oil, fuel and remove all parts, bolts and plugs.
• Clean and blast fuel pumps as necessary.
• Move disassembled components to the next process.
• Stamp identifying numbers on all major engine components and record in daily log.
• Disassemble units according to B.O.M. and O.M.S. processes.
• Move units through the process from station to station completing paperwork, AMES and SAP transactions as required.
• Assist and support other team members.
• Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least one of the following:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)
  • At least 3 years of manufacturing work experience
• Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift – with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing of repetitive actions.
• Ability and willingness to work any shift and potential overtime (including weekends).

Preferred Qualifications: (What makes you stand out)

• Current experience as a contingent worker of at least 60 days in a similar role at John Deere Reman (Springfield, MO) - demonstrating strong performance and attendance.
