Job summary

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a John Deere Service Technician for our Storm Lake, Iowa location.

This role will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment. The successful candidate will join a team focused on safety, quality, and excellent customer service, with opportunities for on-the-job training and advancement within the service

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion as required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Completes all job notes required with work assignments.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Promotes and sells the service department to customers including service work, inspections and parts.
