Job summary

C & B Operations is seeking a John Deere Service Technician for our Storm Lake, Iowa location. You will diagnose, service, and repair customer and dealer-owned agricultural equipment, performing inspections and maintenance to keep machinery productive.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands required to perform tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Completes all job notes required with work assignments.
• Accounts for time on a digital timecard and materials used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Promotes and sells service work, inspections, and parts to increase customer satisfaction.
• Follows all safety procedures and works in a safe manner.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
