Job summary

C & B Operations is hiring a Service Technician for the Sibley, Iowa location. You will diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, perform maintenance, and contribute to customer satisfaction with safe, high-quality service.

Preferred candidates have an Associate degree in Diesel Technology or related field, with ability to work in a team and handle physical tasks. John Deere knowledge and ongoing training are part of the role, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion required to perform tasks.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs required for skill development.
• Completes all job notes required with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time on a digital timecard and materials used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
