Job summary

The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks an Administrative Engineer (M2) for the Quality Assurance and Support Services team. The role involves managing Job Order Contracts, developing contract specifications, tracking MOUs with outside agencies, and providing design services with licensed engineers on small projects.

Work locations include Kingston, NY and Valhalla, NY, with shifts including nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Professional Engineer license with 6 years' engineering experience (2 years in leadership).
• Experience with quality assurance and contract administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Managing Job Order Contracts, approximately $30 million per year.
• Developing contract specifications for service contracts
• Tracking and providing payments on MOUs with outside agencies
• Providing design services with licensed engineers on small projects
