Job Title: Technical Program Manager Financial Services & Digital Payments

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to drive complex technology transformation initiatives across banking, payment processing, and distributed ledger platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, payment systems integration, and emerging digital asset technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise technology programs focused on payment modernization and digital transaction platforms.

Coordinate initiatives involving ACH, wire payments, real-time payment networks, FedNow, SWIFT, and ISO 20022.

Oversee the integration of distributed ledger technologies, blockchain platforms, smart contracts, and digital asset solutions with existing banking systems.

Develop program plans, delivery roadmaps, budgets, resource forecasts, and milestone tracking.

Manage cross-functional teams across product, engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, compliance, and operations.

Identify and mitigate program risks, technical dependencies, regulatory concerns, and delivery challenges.

Facilitate executive reviews, governance meetings, stakeholder communications, and vendor coordination.

Drive Agile/SAFe execution, release planning, testing, deployment, and production readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

12 years of overall IT experience with significant Technical Program Management experience.

Strong experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise payment technology.

Proven track record delivering payment transformation or modernization programs.

Experience managing blockchain, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), or digital asset initiatives.

Understanding of payment processing, clearing and settlement, reconciliation, and transaction workflows.

Knowledge of APIs, microservices, enterprise integration, cloud platforms, security, and data privacy.

Experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe methodologies and large, geographically distributed teams.

Excellent leadership, communication, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certification.

Experience working with large banking or financial services organizations.

Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, CI/CD, and enterprise architecture patterns.
