Energy Services Air Conditioning & Heating Company in Naperville, IL seeks a Senior HVAC Warranty Technician to lead warranty calls, callbacks, and complex service tasks requiring advanced technical expertise.

You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment across residential and commercial systems, perform QA/QC inspections, and document actions with company technology while upholding safety and customer care on every call.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on HVAC experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing residential and commercial systems.
• EPA Certification required.
• NATE Certification a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and standards.

Responsibilities

• Take on HVAC warranty calls, callbacks, and solve complex service issues requiring advanced technical expertise.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, packaged units, and PTAC units.
• Troubleshoot both residential and commercial HVAC systems and applications.
• Perform QA/QC inspections to ensure installations and repairs meet company standards, manufacturer specs, and code requirements.
• Document findings, repairs, warranty work, and corrective actions using company technology.
• Maintain high workmanship, safety, professionalism, and customer care on every call.

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot both residential and commercial HVAC systems and applications

• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections to ensure installations and repairs meet company standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes

• Serve as a senior technical resource when complicated HVAC issues requireadditionaltroubleshooting orexpertise

• Document findings, repairs, warranty work, and corrective actions accurately using company technology

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship, safety, professionalism, and customer care on every call

What You Need

• 10+ years of hands-on HVACexperience diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing residential and commercialHVAC systems and equipment

• Strongtechnical skills andknowledge of air conditioning systems, furnaces, heat pumps, boilers, packaged equipment, Magic-Pak systems, PTAC units, and related HVACequipment

• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to confidently work with customers in challenging situations

• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities, including the ability toidentifydifficult or recurring system issues

• Strong understanding of proper HVAC installation practices, system operation, manufacturer specifications, and quality standards

• EPA Certificationrequired

• NATE Certificationis a plus

• Strong attention to detail, accountability, and commitment to getting the job done correctly

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor environments
