Job summary

Alpha Omega Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide compassionate, at‑home care. You’ll work with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs, following a structured plan of care in Carrollton, TX.

The role requires a CNA certificate, at least 1 year of CNA experience (hospice a plus), CPR if mandated, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive onboarding program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Active unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care and attend to patient and family requests with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well‑being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.
• Assist with Personal Care: Support patients with various personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing. Your presence during these intimate moments contributes significantly to their overall comfort and dignity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state‑mandated
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
