Job summary

Crescent Hospice in Conway, SC is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to deliver compassionate, hands-on care at the end of life. You will work closely with our nursing team to meet patients' physical, emotional, and personal needs with dignity and respect.

Requirements include a current CNA certification, CPR if required, a minimum of 1 year in acute or long-term care, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• CPR certification if state-mandated.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care to ensure comfort and well-being.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Maintain exceptional customer service and support to patients and families.
• Support families with guidance and knowledge for caring for loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient home and agency records.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Care: Follow the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate and unwavering support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Holds current unencumbered certificate in the state working as a C.N.A.
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a C.N.A. in an acute care or long term care setting. Hospice exp a plus!
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification if state-mandated
• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). The pay range listed represents a general posting guideline for the role and is not a fixed offer. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and the specific responsibilities of the position. The exact compensation rate will be discussed and confirmed at the conclusion of the interview process.
