Job summary

Pulice Construction, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Survey Manager in San Antonio to lead survey teams across multiple project sites, providing technical input on standards, specs, and land mapping.

You will oversee work control lines, elevations, and layouts; ensure accurate field measurements; check as-built conditions; provide topographic data; and coordinate with engineers and superintendents while managing department resources and budget.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geometrics or related field preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in survey or land mapping.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide work control lines and elevations for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
• Ensure that crews perform layout work competently and accurately.
• Check as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.
• Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
• Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
• Monitor and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.
• Coordinate survey activities with the assigned engineer and superintendents to meet construction requirements.
• Manage survey department resources and department assigned budget.

As an Assistant Survey Manager, you who will oversee survey teams of one or more project sites, providing technical input regarding engineering standards, specifications, design instructions and land mapping. • Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required.
• Monitor and maintains the condition and calibration of surveying equipment.

Who You Are
