SEASONAL LABORER(S) – 2026

(Approximately May through September; dates may vary based on operational needs)

Under supervision, performs a variety of manual and unskilled labor tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of municipal property, grounds, and public spaces.

Examples of Work:

• Performs manual labor such as lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials
• Digs trenches, holes, and ditches using hand tools
• Cuts grass, weeds, and brush; trims hedges and trees
• Cleans streets, parks, public grounds, and facilities
• Collects and disposes of garbage, debris, and refuse
• Assists in road maintenance and general public works activities
• Operates simple hand tools and power equipment (e.g., shovels, rakes, lawn mowers, weed trimmers)
• Assists skilled workers in maintenance and repair tasks
• Performs routine maintenance tasks as assigned
