Job summary

The County of Sonoma Human Services Department is seeking an energetic Job Link Work Experience Intern who is currently enrolled in a workforce development program. You will support administrative and clerical tasks, manage case files, and assist with data entry and client communication.

The internship offers structured on-the-job training within the Employment and Training Division, focusing on Microsoft Office, data collection, and customer service skills while gaining exposure to county

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a formal workforce development program.
• Experience: None required.
• Valid driver license may be required depending on assignment.
• Ability to perform clerical and data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and close client case files (physical and/or electronic).
• Create and manage appointment spreadsheets; manage Job Link emails and interpretation requests.
• Process invoices and reimbursements.
• Answer phones and provide customer service.
• Assist Job Link staff with projects and client orientations; schedule/attend meetings and take notes.
