Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ experience, preferably with job coaching or related work with persons with disabilities.
• Proven ability in job development and employer relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to travel locally and engage with employers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of employed participants and job seekers with job development support and documentation in the SET-Works database.
• Oversee intake process for new participants including screening referrals and vocational assessments.
• Develop and maintain relationships with individuals, families, VR counselors, advocates, and employers.
• Meet quota for number and retention of job placements.
• Proactively engage local employers through outreach, meetings, and presentations to promote Best Buddies Jobs.
• Manage existing employer relationships and follow up on leads.
• Assist with job analysis to align roles with participant skills and goals.
• Support open communication with participants and employers to ensure successful placements.
