Qualifications

• Valid New York State driver’s license.
• 2–3 years of experience working with IDD.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office proficiency a plus.
• Must possess and maintain a personal cell phone for work-related communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess participant readiness for employment by evaluating skills and interests.
• Develop strong community connections by establishing relationships with employers, public agencies, and organizations to create job opportunities.
• Generate job leads through outreach, responding to job ads, and actively seeking roles suited to participants’ goals.
• Support and coach participants on the job by maintaining contact with employers and providing ongoing support.
