You will identify jobs aligned with each individual's skills and interests and leverage community resources, job fairs, and employer connections to build opportunities.

This role requires strong interpersonal, writing, and computer skills to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job description

Ohel is seeking a Job Developer to work with individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities as they enter the work force. Responsibilities will include finding jobs corresponding with individual's skills and interests, use community resources, job fairs and other connections to develop jobs with potential employers. Candidate must have relevant experience creating and building community relationships. Strong interpersonal, writing and computer skills to ensure compliance with program regulations. Valid license and own car a plus. This full-time or part-time position is based in Brooklyn, Queens, Far Rockaway, and Long Island.

Position includes a competitive benefits package including 403B retirement plan, paid time off (PTO) and for full time employees, health insurance.

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour
