Job summary

Avita Property Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team in Austin. The role supports Service Managers, diagnoses issues, and performs routine and preventative maintenance to ensure apartments are move-in ready.

The candidate should have at least two years in multifamily maintenance, including plumbing and electrical, with EPA Universal certification preferred. On-call rotations and a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and quality are required.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum of multifamily maintenance experience, including plumbing and electrical.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload; deadline- and detail-oriented.

This role will require rotating on-call availability and EPA Certification (preferred).Our Maintenance Technicians provide support to the Service Managers and assume a leadership role in their absence. They provide quality service to our residents, diagnose problems, and make repairs. They are responsible for routine and preventative maintenance repairs. MUST have previous experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that apartments are made ready for new residents

• Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields

Requirements:

Candidates must be positive, team-oriented, have a professional appearance, be highly detailed, performance-driven, organized, have excellent service skills, and be able to manage and organize multiple projects.

• Require a minimum of (2) years of multifamily maintenance experience including plumbing and electrical.
• EPA certification
• Must pass criminal background and drug screen as well as possess a valid Driver's License.
• Weekend work & On-Call Emergency Maintenance rotation may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $22.00 per hour
