Job summary

Work Ready is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support high school students with mild to moderate disabilities during community-based Work Experience placements. You will assist students at local employer sites to learn job tasks and understand workplace expectations, helping them build independence.

Responsibilities include on-site support, teaching job skills, modeling professional behavior, and communicating progress to staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Completion of UNT WISE Job Skills Training (online certification).
• Experience in related human services fields is preferred.

Position Summary

The Job Coach assists students directly at local employer sites to help them learn job tasks, understand workplace expectations, and build independence.

Schedule

Thursday & Friday, 5:00-8:00 | Saturday & Sunday, 1:30-4:30

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Completion of UNT WISE Job Skills Training (online certification).

Preferred Experience (not required):

• Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Education, Coaching, Counseling, Mental Health, Social Work, Non-Profit, or other Human Services fields.
