Job summary

Dutton Farm Inc. in Michigan is hiring a Job Coach to support adults with disabilities at their job sites, providing real-time coaching, skill-building, and guidance to help participants achieve independence.

The role requires leading with patience, documenting progress, maintaining safety, and communicating with employers and the Dutton Farm team. Must be available to work at least four mornings per week, with compensation of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work directly alongside participants at their job sites, providing real-time support and guidance.
• Deliver hands-on, one-on-one coaching to help participants complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Provide emotional support, helping participants navigate challenges and stay engaged throughout their workday.
• Use positive redirection techniques to guide participants back to tasks and reinforce expectations when needed.
• Build and reinforce strong work habits, accountability, and professional behavior in the workplace.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with employers, supervisors, and the Dutton Farm team to ensure success.
• Identify challenges quickly and take initiative to implement practical, solution-focused strategies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in alignment with Dutton Farm standards.
• Uphold safety expectations and address any concerns right away.
• Track progress toward employment goals and celebrate measurable achievements along the way.
