Dutton Farm Inc. is seeking a Job Coach in Michigan to support adults with disabilities at their job sites, providing on-site coaching to build job skills and independence. You will lead participants through tasks, offer encouragement, and ensure safety and progress throughout the workday.

The role requires strong leadership, reliability, and a commitment to delivering measurable results in a team-oriented environment. Paid training and benefits are included for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• High school diploma is required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with participants at their job sites, providing real-time support and guidance.
• Deliver hands-on, one-on-one coaching to help participants complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Provide emotional support, helping participants navigate challenges and stay engaged throughout their workday.
• Use positive redirection to guide participants back to tasks and reinforce expectations when needed.
• Build and reinforce strong work habits, accountability, and professional behavior in the workplace.
• Communicate clearly with employers, supervisors, and the Dutton Farm team to ensure success.
• Identify challenges quickly and implement practical, solution-oriented strategies.
