Metrocare Services in Dallas is seeking a dedicated professional to provide job coaching and supportive services for individuals with developmental disabilities. You will liaise with CDDS, businesses, and center staff to implement personalized employment plans and track progress.

The role emphasizes collaborative skills, confidentiality, and adherence to state/federal guidelines while supporting clients to achieve meaningful employment and independent living outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent required, plus 1–2 years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or American Sign Language a plus.
• Basic math skills and ability to work with reports and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective job coaching and employment plans with individuals.
• Communicate with clients to understand goals and ambitions.
• Assist individuals to identify barriers and set realistic goals.
• Assess strengths and teach clients to leverage them in tasks.
• Guide individuals in learning to complete job tasks and stay motivated.
• Maintain records and prepare reports; monitor progress.
