Job summary

Horizon Project, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Day Support, Community Living, and Job Coaching services. No prior experience or certifications are required, though experience may influence starting pay.

Pay ranges from $16 to $18.50 per hour, with an additional $1 per hour for job coaching duties. Schedule is Monday–Friday 8AM–4PM (40 hours/week) with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (typing, email, etc.).
• Strong English communication (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to stay calm in a busy environment.
• Teamwork and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities that meet clients' goals.
• Take clients on community outings.
• Use a company vehicle for client transport.
• Teach job skills and help clients obtain employment.
• Support clients at their jobs (job coaching).
• Assist with bathroom, bathing, and personal care tasks.
