Clarity Care Inc. seeks a dedicated Job Coach to assist individuals with disabilities in securing and succeeding in community-based employment. You will model professional behavior, coach problem-solving and decision-making, and adapt training to each client’s needs across varied work settings.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to person-centered planning. A valid WI driver’s license and background checks are prerequisites for this caring,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass Wisconsin Caregiver Background Checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a positive role model and coach, helping clients build problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, and independent living skills.
• Learn each client’s needs and support them in meeting goals in their employment setting.
• Provide training, demonstrations, and guidance individually and in group sessions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule according to the needs of the clients and employers.
• Teach and encourage clients to pursue their hopes, goals, and objectives through self-direction and effective decision-making.
• Monitor and document client behaviors in the workplace.

Must provide proof of autoinsurance.Must pass a periodic WI Caregiver Background Check including Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks,and/or that of previous states of residence.Knowledge of and ability to intervene appropriately in crisis prevention and de-escalation when necessary.Experience working with people who have physical and mental disabilities.
