Job summary

Echo Communications seeks a dedicated Job Coach to empower individuals with disabilities to pursue meaningful employment and independence in the Leesburg area. You will guide clients through identifying strengths, securing jobs, and receiving ongoing support to ensure lasting success.

You will work closely with employers and a collaborative team, delivering on-the-job training, coaching, and inclusive career pathways. This role emphasizes compassion, creativity, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Job Placement: Discover clients' dreams, skills, and motivations; help them search for and secure jobs.
• On-the-Job Support: Provide one-on-one training to help individuals succeed in their roles and navigate workplace culture.
• Employer Development: Build relations with local businesses to create opportunities for both employers and employees.
• Coordination & Communication: Manage multiple schedules, connect with employers and families, and address workplace needs.
• Teamwork & Training: Collaborate with a team to support each individual's success and participate in training and workshops.

What You'll Do:

As a Job Coach, you'll play an essential role in guiding individuals with disabilities toward their ideal career paths. You'll support people every step of the way, from identifying their unique strengths and interests to assisting in securing employment and offering ongoing support. Your Responsibilities:

• Job Placement: Discover the dreams, skills, and motivations of your clients, then help them search for and secure jobs that fit their interests and needs.
• On-the-Job Support: Provide one-on-one training and creative support to help individuals succeed in their roles and navigate workplace culture.
• Employer Development: Build strong relationships with local businesses to create opportunities and ensure both employers and employees thrive.
• Coordination & Communication: Juggle multiple schedules, connect with employers and families, and be the go-to person for workplace needs.
• Teamwork & Training: Work closely with a collaborative team to ensure the success of each individual and continue to grow through training and workshops.

Who We're Looking For:

A motivated self-starter who is passionate about making a real impact in the community and has a heart for helping others succeed. You should have:

• An associate degree (or equivalent work experience) with experience in vocational or support training for individuals with disabilities.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn.
