Pathway Services Unlimited, Inc. is seeking a dedicated staff member to support individuals in pursuing and maintaining community employment through the SEP, including transportation and job coaching.
The role requires driving eligibility, background checks, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with a willingness to adapt hours for program needs and events. This is a full-time position reporting to the Program Services Director.
Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
May be required to adjust work hours for special program needs and events. May have varied schedule, if needed.
Responsible for people supported in all aspects of community employment under the general direction of the Program Services Director.
Verifiable documentation of education. High School graduate (or equivalency). At least 18 years of age with valid driver's license and insurable driving record. Must be able to meet the requirements of Direct Support Persons (DSP) training. One or more years of experience programming for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other physical and mental challenges required.
Successful completion of the Short Test of Functional Health Literacy in Adults (S-TOFHLA), testing ability to read. This is a skilled position. This job requires good verbal communication skills including the ability to read and write. Must be able to deal with problems and resolve conflicts. Must be able to work independently. Ability to interact with people supported by the Agency, employees, supervisory/management staff and members of the community. May represent the Agency at a variety of events.
Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation. Successful completion of Essential Functioning Test (EFT) verifying ability to lift at least seventy-five (75) pounds.
