Job summary

IA Interior Architects in Dallas seeks a Job Captain to support design development and contract documents under supervision of a Senior Job Captain and/or Architect or Project Manager. Responsibilities include CD production, coordination with consultants, and budget monitoring.

The ideal candidate has a degree in architecture or design and at least five years of experience on corporate interior design projects, with strong Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of architecture or design school; equivalent experience accepted.
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience on corporate interior design projects.

Responsibilities

• Creates construction documents (CDs) and reviews CDs for compliance with standards, codes and ADA requirements.
• Manages project through the contract administration phase.
• Coordinates with engineering consultants to ensure design solutions and timely submission of documents.
• Manages contract administration budget for assigned projects and communicates variances.
• Conducts client interviews to determine technical requirements for the design.
