Job summary

EDG Interior Architecture + Design is seeking a Job Captain to work with the Senior Designer and Project Manager on design development, construction documents, and administration for hospitality and complex projects.

The candidate should have 5–7+ years' experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and a strong ability to mentor junior staff while coordinating with consultants and clients. This is an in-person position in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 5-7+ years' experience in all phases of architectural design.
• Experience with high-end restaurant/hospitality or residential design a plus.
• Excellent drafting and detailing skills; strong software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Draft and assemble interior design construction documents independently.
• Produce workplans with project manager to meet schedule and fees.
• Review CDs for compliance with standards, codes, ADA; coordinate consultants.
• Interact with team, consultants, and clients for smooth workflow.
• Mentor junior staff and oversee 2-3 junior members.
• Support multiple projects concurrently; some travel may be required.
