Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven
Job Captain with a strong background in
corporate interior architecture to support our growing portfolio of innovative workplace projects. This role is critical in translating design concepts into fully coordinated construction documents and ensuring the successful execution of high-quality office environments for our corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and technical staff in the production of construction documents for corporate interior projects.
- Lead the coordination of consultant drawings and integration of MEP, structural, and other systems.
- Manage drawing sets through all phases (SD, DD, CD) ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with code and standards.
- Work with design teams to develop and document details that reflect the design intent and support constructability.
- Review and coordinate architectural, furniture, and millwork details to ensure quality control and technical resolution.
- Conduct site surveys and field verifications; prepare existing conditions drawings.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and consultants during documentation and construction administration phases.
- Participate in permitting and construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and performing punch list walkthroughs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture (or related field).
- 3–7 years of experience in architecture or interior design with a focus on corporate interiors.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Bluebeam is a plus.
- Solid understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to take ownership of technical coordination and document production with minimal supervision.
